One-day Private Tour of the Badaling Great Wall Downtown Area

Tour Itinerary

The driver will pick you up at your hotel within the Fifth Ring Road, and it takes about one and a half hours by car to reach the Badaling Great Wall. The starting time is very flexible. It is advisable to set off earlier on holidays or weekends to avoid the crowds.

Upon arrival, your driver will assist you in purchasing tickets, and then you can explore on your own. Optional additional services include taking a cable car to the top of the city wall and returning by toboggan (both at your own expense). Depending on your arrival time, you generally have about three hours to hike and take photos on the city wall.

After visiting the Great Wall, the driver will take you back to your hotel within Beijing's Fifth Ring Road. This concludes the itinerary.
