Mutianyu Great Wall Private Tour: The Key to Worry – Free Exploration of a World Wonder
As one of the most spectacular sections of the Ming Great Wall, Mutianyu is renowned for its 20 – kilometer – long winding towers and the breathtaking view of the mountains ablaze with red leaves in autumn. However, for overseas tourists, the biggest obstacle to getting there is not the steep steps, but the language barrier. There are no English signs on the scenic area buses, and taking a taxi may lead to over – charging traps. Choosing a private car – charter service gives you a sense of control from the very beginning of your journey.

Tour Itinerary
The driver will pick you up at your hotel. The journey to Mutianyu Great Wall takes around one and a half hours by car. The starting time is highly flexible. It is recommended to set off early on holidays or weekends to avoid the crowds.
Upon arrival, the driver will help you purchase the entrance tickets, and then you can start your independent exploration. Optional additional services include taking a cable car to reach the top of the wall and returning by toboggan (both at your own expense). Depending on when you arrive, you generally have about three hours to hike on the wall and take pictures.
After visiting the Great Wall, the driver will take you back to your hotel in Beijing. The tour concludes.
